It will be another 100 years before South Bristol can celebrate like it did July 17, 18 and 19.

The town celebrated its centennial with a host of events including a 5k fun run, parade, and arts and crafts fair.

South Bristol, which 100 years ago was part of Bristol, was able to best its former town in a tug of war.
