"Twilight" is a teen romantic-fantasy film based on the novel by Stephenie Meyer, directed by Catherine Hardwicke. It tells the story of Bella Swan, a teenager who moves to Forks, Washington, and falls for the mysterious and alluring vampire, Edward Cullen. Their relationship is complicated by the fact that Edward and his family are vampires who live peacefully by consuming animal blood rather than human. Bella's life becomes endangered when a group of nomadic vampires, led by James, targets her. The film explores themes of forbidden love, identity, and the struggle between good and evil, all set against the backdrop of the Pacific Northwest.
