Community Comes to Celebrate at The Lincoln Home

Wed, 07/20/2022 - 1:00pm
Last Thursday Lincoln Home residents, guests and community friends shared in a fun filled evening dancing on the lawn to The Boneheads. It was a beautiful evening on the river to host the first of three celebrations to mark the Lincoln Home’s 95th Birthday.  Delicious food was served by the Salty Boyz and Blazing Tomato food trucks, oysters from Muscongous Bay, Ice Cream from Round Top and fun drinks by Sadie the Bar Car.

Next up, is the big 95th Birthday Bash with a Roaring 20’s Lawn Party on Saturday evening, August 20. Dance to The Boneheads, enjoy a Champagne Toast, delicious Nosh foods, cash bar, games, a fun photo booth, antique cars and a Silent Auction. We encourage 1920’s Dress to add to the flavor of the evening, and to honor the year 1927, we were founded.

Friday evening, September 23, we host The Don Campbell Band for an outdoor concert by the river with dancing on our lawn. Once again, The Salty Boyz and Blazing Tomato food trucks,  and Sadie the Bar Car will have offerings  for purchase, as well as, oysters and Round Top ice cream.  Bring your lawn chairs, and no coolers, please.

The Lincoln Home is a non-profit, independent and assisted living community that promotes vibrant living for seniors each and every day.
This year, donations and proceeds from our 2022 Summer Celebrations will help to replace our  aging roof.  Get your tickets to join us for our fun outdoor events on the River, and help Raise the Roof!  We could not do this without the collaboration and support of individuals, families and business members.
