Boat America:
completing this course can lower your boat insurance. In Maine, anyone born on or after Jan. 1, 1999 operating a boat with more than 25 hp MUST have a certificate showing completion of Boat America. This course is an introduction to how boats handle, boating laws and requirements, emergencies, and trailering. Cost: $40, includes textbook and certificate.
