Betsy J. Mosier
Betsy J. Mosier, 80, of Woolwich passed away Sept. 28, 2026.
She was born in Bath Sept. 17, 1946, a daughter of Walter A. and Grace E. (Skillin) Smith.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Woolwich, Coastal Rusty Nuts Car Club and the Moal’s Car Club.
She enjoyed sock hops, dancing, breakfast with her sister Sandi Emerson and her husband Bob, and loved long joy rides with hopes of finding a new spot to eat along the way. Some of her favorite times were holidays and time spent with family. She really enjoyed going to the car club gatherings and meeting up with her friends.
She was predeceased by her husband Frank Mosier, her parents, one brother, Dennis Smith, one stepdaughter, Judy Rowe, one stepson, Tony Mosier, and one brother-in-law, Bob Emerson.
Betsy is survived by her two daughters, Dorraine Dewley and her husband Truman of Embden, Barbara Greenleaf and her husband Albert of Westport Island; two stepsons, Larry Mosier and his wife Kathy, Dennis Mosier and his wife Vicki of Woolwich; one stepdaughter, Edie Milligan and her husband Tony of Woolwich; one sister, Sandi Emerson of Woolwich; one brother, Oakley Smith and his partner Cindy of Pittston; many grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17 at the Taste of Maine in Woolwich. We welcome all the car club members to bring their antique, classic cars in her memory. Condolences may be made at www.DaigleFuneralHome.com
