Newcastle Realty is pleased to announce that John Pedlowe of Wiscasset has joined the company as a real estate agent.

Pedlowe brings an extensive professional background in government, strategy consulting, international development and project management. Throughout his career, he has worked with complex organizations and projects where careful analysis, clear communication and attention to detail were essential— skills he now brings to helping buyers and sellers navigate real estate decisions.

His interest in real estate is also personal. Pedlowe has firsthand experience buying, selling and restoring several residential properties, including historic homes. Through those projects, he developed a particular appreciation for the craftsmanship and character of older homes as well as a practical understanding of renovations, property condition and preparing a home for its next owner.

As he begins his real estate career in Maine, Pedlowe will be mentored by veteran Newcastle Realty agent Clint Miller, drawing on Miller’s extensive experience and knowledge of the Maine market.

A California native whose life and career have taken him around the country and the world, Pedlowe and his family now proudly call Wiscasset home. He holds a master’s degree from Harvard University and an undergraduate degree from San Diego State University, with additional studies at the University of Oxford and in Spain.

Outside of real estate, Pedlowe enjoys gardening, traveling, caring for his German Shepherd and two cats, and coaching gymnastics at the local YMCA. He enjoys being part of the Wiscasset community and helping others discover what makes Maine a special place to call home.
