The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 285 calls for service for the period of Sept. 15 to Sept. 22. Year to date, LCSO has responded to 9,993 calls for service.

Summonses

Devan L. Anderson, 39, of Bremen was issued a summons Sept. 15 for Digging for Shellfish without a License, on Waldoboro Road, Bremen, by Deputy Brandon Maciuba.

Joseph M. Kelley, 48, of Alna was issued a summons Sept. 18 for Attaching False Plates, on Waldoboro Road, Jefferson, by Deputy Brandon Maciuba.

Arrests

George Ganson Jr., 43, of Round Pond was arrested Sept. 15 on three Failure to Appear warrants out of Lincoln County for Failing to Make Oral or Written Accident Report; Operating Under the Influence (Drugs) with 1 prior and Violating Condition of Release; and Unlawful Possession of Scheduled Drug and Violating Condition of Release, on US Route 1, Nobleboro, by Deputy Caleb Poirier.

Samantha A. Reed, 27, of Boothbay was arrested Sept. 18 on a Penobscot County arrest warrant for Operating under the Influence, Driving to Endanger, Operating while License is Suspended or Revoked and Criminal Mischief, at the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, Wiscasset, by Deputy Nathan Yeaton.

Leonard W. Santos, 71, of Dresden was arrested Sept. 19 for Aggravated Assault, on Middle Road, Dresden, by Deputy Nathaniel Aronson.

Accidents

On Sept. 15, an accident occurred on Waldoboro Road in Jefferson involving Anthony B. Conant-Laurinaitis, 20, of Bethel and Jason M. Lowe, 48, of Bristol. Mr. Conant-Laurinaitis was operating his 2014 Subaru Legacy westbound, following too closely behind Lowe’s 2024 Dodge 2500. Lowe slowed at the intersection and Conant-Laurinaitis rear ended Lowe’s vehicle, causing front damage to Conant-Laurinaitis’ vehicle and no apparent damage to Lowe’s vehicle as Conant-Laurinaitis’ vehicle struck Lowe’s trailer hitch and ball. Deputy Jeffrey Rogers was the investigating officer.

On Sept. 15, an accident occurred on Route 1 in Edgecomb involving Johnathan Cooley, 25, of Somerville and Vivek Kondrkunta, 27, of Edison, New Jersey. Mr. Cooley was operating his 2020 Chevrolet Colorado southbound behind Mr. Kondrkunta’s 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe, in heavy traffic. Cooley did not see that Kondrkunta had stopped and collided with it, causing disabling damage to the front bumper due to a fluid leak. Kondrkunta’s vehicle sustained damage to the rear, but remained driveable. Deputy Caleb Poirier was the investigating officer.

On Sept. 16, an accident occurred on Boothbay Road in Edgecomb involving William S. Snowman, 49, of Richmond and Alexander J. Zdanovich, 40, of Boothbay Harbor. Mr. Snowman had stopped his 2018 Ford Focus at the stop sign on Eddy Road and Boothbay Road. Mr. Zdanovich was operating his 2008 Honda Odyssey behind Snowman’s vehicle and had stopped also. Snowman began to move forward in order to turn right onto Boothbay Road and stopped again. Zdanovich also began to move forward and struck Snowman’s vehicle, causing small scrapes in the rear bumper of Snowman’s vehicle and a bent license plate on his vehicle. Sgt. Kevin Dennison was the investigating officer.

On Sept. 17, an accident occurred on Rockland Road in Whitefield involving Leah A. Kirkland, 16, of Jefferson and Rebecca G. Tomasello, 20, of Bremen. Ms. Kirkland was operating her 2022 GMC Sierra eastbound and Ms. Tomasello was also traveling eastbound directly in front of Kirkland’s vehicle in her 2024 Subaru Crosstrek. A vehicle cut off Tomasello’s vehicle causing her to hit her brakes and Kirkland was unable to stop in time and collided with the rear of Tomasello’s vehicle. Deputy Caleb Poirier was the investigating officer.
