"Time Adrift," a brand-new original musical by Emily and Nick Mirabile, opens next week for a special one-weekend-only engagement at Lincoln Theater.
Set against the backdrop of a Maine coastal town, "Time Adrift" follows the journey of Ben, a hardworking fisherman portrayed by local favorite Spencer Pottle. After a powerful storm changes the course of his life, Ben embarks on an unforgettable adventure through a magical underwater world filled with colorful characters, humor, heart, and hope.
Joining Spencer on stage are many beloved local performers from across the region. Featuring a cast of 50 local adult and youth actors, the production showcases the incredible talent and community spirit that make local theater so special. The cast includes Sophia Mansfield, Agatha Harris, Oscar Mirabile, and Jonah Kurtz as Ben's family; and Andy Luke, Roosevelt Bishop, Titan Lewis, and Scout Martin as Ben's fisherman buddies. Playing the locals and various other characters are Dan True, Stephen Wallace, Alan Baldwin, George Bishop, Craig Urwin, Medea Harris, Brianne Martin, Christina Kurtz, Ophelia Hibl, Natalie Flagg, Eden Climo, Julie Browne, Jonathan Bernier, Fiona Bishop, Sloan Nelson, Jessie Ullo, Collin Cantillo, Finn Sullivan, Imij Armstead, Aubrey Holmes, Kyleigh Cole.
The cast also includes an enthusiastic and talented group of local youth: Gannon Inman, Adeline Inman, Violet Baldwin, Laila Lufkin, Harper Westhaver, Lily Billings, Kaia Curtis, Vivian Flagg, Evelyn Michaud, Isla Sullivan, Presley Crommett, Iris Adams, Louie Mirabile, Griffin Climo, and Phelan Browne.
Written by Emily and Nick Mirabile, "Time Adrift" is an original musical created right here in Maine. Combining memorable music, imaginative storytelling, and a heartfelt message about family, friendship, and finding your way home, this exciting new production is sure to delight audiences of all ages.
