We need Eric Hobson
Dear Editor:
Who is Charlotte Nutt? She ran in 2024 for the House seat District 79 as an Independent. She is now a Democrat. What will she be running as in 2028?
Charlotte Nutt has all the campaign slogans that are the hallmarks of the Democrats. “We need more affordable housing.” Democrats have had eight years to make that happen. Fact is affordable housing was given to “New Mainers.” Illegals that Governor Mills rolled out the welcome mat for. Giving them housing free of charge. Nutt’s climate change issues are typical Democrat talking points. Adding bike lanes is not going to lower carbon emissions. Greta Thunberg’s cry that the world will come to an end in 10 years if we did not address climate change. Those points have been debunked over the years. Remember Al Gore ranting that the entire east coast would be underwater by 2012.
If Charlotte Nutt was truly interested in cleaning up the environment, she would be sounding the alarm on the “chemtrails” that are spreading toxic fumes across the sky that are making people sick. Some states have passed legislation to stop chemtrails, Red states like Tennessee, Florida, and Louisiana. We don’t need another Democrat in Augusta regulating and spending more money we don’t have. The Democrats will be leaving the next administration with a $1.7 billion in dept and climbing. Charlotte does not seem to be concerned about the debt according to her article in the LCN.
Republican Eric Hobson is who we need in Augusta. He will work to reduce government spending, lower energy costs, eliminate waste, fraud and corruption. Work for career training that will give the good paying jobs and keep our youth staying in Maine. If you are in District 48 and live in the town of Boothbay Harbor, Edgecomb, South Bristol, Southport, and Westport Island vote for Republican Eric Hobson on Nov. 3 and cut government spending.
