"Poltergeist" - (1982, PG; 1 hour, 54 minutes) - Strange and creepy happenings beset an average California family, the Freelings - Steve (Craig T. Nelson), Diane (JoBeth Williams), teenaged Dana (Dominique Dunne), eight-year-old Robbie (Oliver Robins), and five-year-old Carol Ann (Heather O'Rourke) - when ghosts commune with them through the television set. Initially friendly and playful, the spirits turn unexpectedly menacing, and, when Carol Ann goes missing, Steve and Diane turn to a parapsychologist and eventually an exorcist for help. "A Nightmare on Elm Street" - (R; running time 1 hour, 31 minutes) - In Wes Craven's classic slasher film, several Midwestern teenagers fall prey to Freddy Krueger (Robert Englund), a disfigured midnight mangler who preys on the teenagers in their dreams -- which, in turn, kills them in reality. After investigating the phenomenon, Nancy (Heather Langenkamp) begins to suspect that a dark secret kept by her and her friends' parents may be the key to unraveling the mystery, but can Nancy and her boyfriend Glen (Johnny Depp) solve the puzzle before it's too late? Pumpkinfest Regatta 2026 – Free Live Stream - Enjoy the Regatta in the comfort of the Lincoln Theater, streaming live to the big screen by Lincoln County Television. If you’ve never seen the Damariscotta Pumpkinfest Regatta, you are in for a treat! Pumpkinboats (400-700 pound, hollowed out pumpkins) are paddled or motor powered in this famous regatta on the Damariscotta River, and rather than fighting the crowds, you can watch it all live streamed on the big screen! "Zootopia 2" - (PG; 1 hour, 48 minutes) - FREE Pumpkinfest Film - In Walt Disney Animation Studios' "Zootopia 2," detectives Judy Hopps (voiced by Ginnifer Goodwin) and Nick Wilde (voiced by Jason Bateman) find themselves on the twisting trail of a mysterious reptile who arrives in Zootopia and turns the mammal metropolis upside down. To crack the case, Judy and Nick must go undercover to unexpected new parts of town, where their growing partnership is tested like never before. This is a free event, open to the public. "Canoe Dig It?" - (NR; 1 hour, 18 minutes) - Lincoln Theater is pleased to welcome filmmaker Samuel Dunning for this special event screening of “Canoe Dig It?” followed by a post-screening Q&A. A mockumentary comedy about a fictional canoeing competition in Northern Maine for the nonfictional sport of Freestyle Canoeing, a form of performative canoeing best described as “canoe dancing.” Competitors paddle out and spin, dip, and "dance” in circles and in perfect synchronization with the music of their choice. CAST presents: "Lyle, Lyle Crocodile Jr. The Musical" - Lincoln Theater's Coastal Arts Student Theater (CAST) is honored to present a special pilot production of “Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile JR.,” a brand-new musical featuring music by acclaimed songwriting team Benj Pasek and Justin Paul. Based on the beloved children’s books about a lovable crocodile who finds a home with the Primm family in New York City, "Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile JR." brings the heart, humor, and charm of the story to the stage with wonderful new music, colorful characters, and a message about friendship, family, acceptance, and finding the courage to be yourself. Showtimes: At 5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15 and Fri Oct. 16; and at 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 18. Tickets: $12 adult, $10 LT members, and $5 youth (ages 18 and under).
