AUGUSTA — The Maine CDC has released COVID-19 confirmed and probable case data by ZIP code.
With the data release, the Maine CDC continues to urge all individuals in Maine — resident or not — to abide by all established COVID-19 guidelines whether cases are within their particular ZIP code.
Do not rely solely on ZIP Code data when making decisions on what you should or should not do amid the pandemic, Maine CDC Director Dr. Nirav Shah said Oct. 28, during a COVID-19 update briefing.
“While interesting and informative, the ZIP Code data is not a tool to calculate risk of engaging in certain activities,” said Dr. Shah.
As per Maine CDC guidance, the below table is sorted by ZIP code since some ZIP codes could span multiple towns. As such, Maine CDC noted the data should not be directly broken down by town and referred to instead by ZIP code.
As of June 10, Lincoln County has recorded 1,072 cases since March 2020.
The below data was last updated June 10 by the Maine CDC using data as of June 6. Data updates are provided once per week, on Wednesdays or Thursdays, by the Maine CDC.
