Debi brings over twenty years of experience in real estate and Sara offers a younger generation’s perspective on marketing, utilizing social media. Last year, these two brokers were responsible for over $9 million dollars in property sales at Newcastle Realty.
During the early stages of the current pandemic, Sara spearheaded an effort to produce a 60-second video comprised of Newcastle Realty brokers sharing their message of “community.” The staff wanted viewers to know that real estate is still being transacted, and they are all still busy connecting buyers and sellers. They understand many people have questions about buying and selling real estate during the current restrictions, and Sara wanted everyone to know that they have answers for them. Says Rogers, “We really wanted this video message to let everyone to know that we are all in this together.” Newcastle Realty is conducting property showings daily, in person with specific distancing and protective equipment, or virtually with video. They are also now offering Matterport 3D Virtual Tours of many of their listings, which allow the viewer to literally walk through and look around the house at their leisure, from the comfort of their location.
Sara Rogers continues, “Savvy brokers today are using social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat to promote property listings just as they hit the market in the MLS and traditional print advertising.” Sara adds that private messaging and being available by text and email for immediate contact can make the difference in putting together a sale.
