‘100+ Women Who Care Lincoln County Maine’ July meeting in New Harbor
The leadership team of 100+ Women Who Care Lincoln County Maineinvites readers to join their upcoming meeting on Tuesday, July 7 from 5 to 7p.m. at The Contented Sole in New Harbor. With a membership of 350 local women—and a goal of reaching $100,000 donated to local non-profits by the end of 2026—the organization invites you to be part of a wave of giving that is making a tangible impact in our communities.
At the Sole, attendees will enjoy coastal Maine-inspired bites courtesy of member Beth Polhemus and co-owner of the Sole, husband Warren Busteed. Cash bars will be available inside and out to encourage guests to enjoy the long view of the harbor. Socializing occurs from 5:00-6:00p.m, with the guided meeting running from 6 to 7. Representatives from Hearty Roots will be present to formally receive a giant check and share how their organization has been impacted by the funds raised from the April meeting.
The July raffle will give attendees an opportunity to win three incredible prizes: A 10-person lobster bake at a private home on the Damariscotta River in Newcastle. A two-hour boat cruise out of Christmas Cove for eight. A two-night stay at the Tipsy Butler in Newcastle. All raffle items are donated by members and every dollar raised is gifted directly to two non-profits as bonus donations. Organizers encourage attendees to bring cash if interested in the baror raffle. There is no cost to attend the meetings.
