31 Boothbay/Wiscasset athletes to compete in State Class C track & field championships
On June 6, 14 girls and 17 boys will represent Boothbay and Wiscasset high schools at the Maine Class C State track and field championships. This year's meet is at Winslow High School on Saturday, June 6 beginning at 10 a.m.
The following girls are competing: Rose Campbell, 4X100M relay, 100M and 200M dashes and discus; Gabrielle Cassidy, high jump; Raegan Eddy, 4X100M and 4X400M relays; Sophia Gatnar, 4X100M and 4X400M relays; Aryana Gray, discus and shot put; Sierra Hogan, 4X100M and 4X400M relays; Maya Jacobs, 4X100M and 4X400M relays; Nerla Laventure, 4X100M and 4X400M relays; Maggie McCarthy, 1600M and 3200M runs; Avery Rice, high jump; Olivia Rittall, 4X100M relay, 100M, 200M and 400M dashes; Moriah Smith, 4X100M relay, 100M, 200M and 400M dashes; and Zuriel Smith, discus and shot put.
The following boys will compete: Logan Bourne, shot put; Louie Caidoc, 4X400M, and 4X800M relays;, and 800M run; Chase Carver, high jump; Ethan Clark; 4X400M and 4X800M relays,1600M run; AJ Crocker, 4X400M and 4X800m relays, 3200 run; Malachi Donaldson, javelin; Isaac Fanslau, 4X400M relay, 100M and 200M dashes; Ross Gaffney, 1600M race walk; Ben Gapski, 110M hurdles, long jump and triple jump; Aron Geddes, 4X400M relay and javelin; Lysander Lefevre, 4X400M relay and discus; Chase Licursi, high jump; Nathan Percival,1600M race walk; Casey Phelps, shot put; and Jackson Zehm, 1600M race walk.
