One contest has shaped up in Wiscasset’s town elections. Town Clerk Linda Perry said the following candidates returned nomination papers for the June 13 elections. The papers were due back at the town office by 5 p.m. Tuesday, April 18:

For two selectmen’s seats, each with a two-year term: Pamela J. Dunning, Donald E. Davis and incumbents Dusty Jones and Terry H. Heller.

No one turned in papers for the six budget committee seats up for election; Victoria Jean Hugo Vidal turned in papers for the three-year, school committee seat Michelle Blagdon did not seek to keep; Daniel Sortwell turned in papers for a three-year Water District term and no one turned in papers for other Water District seats.

Elections are from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 13 at Wiscasset Community Center. 242 Gardiner Road, according to a draft warrant released April 10.
