‘Alive on the Common’ concerts continue
Wiscasset Area Chamber of Commerce invites the public to enjoy free Alive on the Common Concerts for 2026. The concerts take place on Thursdays at 6 p.m. on Wiscasset Common, in front of Lincoln County Courthouse.
The concert series presented by the Chamber and Wiscasset Parks & Recreation had a July 2 kickoff with Cryin’ Out Loud (blues) sponsored by Ames True Value. Next up, July 9 is Rip Tide (blues, funk and classic rock) sponsored by Sherri Dunbar of Tim Dunham Realty; July 16, Deadly Desire ('80s pop/rock) sponsored by Sprague’s Lobster and Sky and Michelle Wentworth; July 23, Papa Tim & The Whiskey Throttle Band (soulful rocky blues) sponsored by J. Edward Knight Insurance; Aug. 6, Murky Water Band ('50s, '60s rock and country) sponsored by First National Bank and Davison Construction; and Aug. 13, Pan Fried Steel (Caribbean) sponsored by Wiscasset Creative Alliance. There will be no concert July 30 during Wiscasset Art Walk.
Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, picnic dinner and the family for a fun evening of music.
