On Tuesday, Nov. 17 at 2 p.m. Classic Harmony will present its fall concert at the Second Congregational Church, 51 Main St., Newcastle.

Classic Harmony is a large group of seniors of all abilities, singing together to keep voices energized and healthy while enjoying a positive social atmosphere. The concert will include a wide variety of music including pop, Broadway tunes, folk songs and familiar selections from the Great American Songbook.

The group’s membership has increased dramatically since its first semester in 2023, from 35 singers to 80. There are no auditions to belong to the group. Everyone is invited, “come one, come all."

Classic Harmony isn’t about perfection, it’s about enjoying the camaraderie at rehearsals and sharing the result with the audience. Though the group aspires for perfection, they are not afraid to sing it “strong and wrong.”

Classic Harmony is under the Tapestry Singers non-profit umbrella. Admission to the concert: suggested donation of $10, but any amount is welcome.
