Dear Editor:

We, present and former Wiscasset Select Board Members, endorse Pamela Dunning for Selectman.

Pam has spent 14 years serving the town of Wiscasset, first on the Budget Committee, and then on the Board of Selectmen. She knows how it used to be, how it is now, and how we got to this point. We believe this knowledge is crucial on the Board to avoid repeating the mistakes of the past. Pam knows that it is time that Wiscasset started looking at what we need to carry us into the future and relieve the tax burden on the residents of Wiscasset.

To quote Pam, “We do that by working on economic development to attract more business and broaden our taxbase.” “People of Wiscasset, please, take a strong look at what Wiscasset really needs and help me to help you put that in place for our future.” “Let us respectfully listen to each other and work together to build a plan that will work for all of the people of Wiscasset.”

We, the undersigned, support the candidacy of Pamela Dunning and ask that you do so as well.
