Damariscotta man named Penobscot Bay Regional Chamber board president
The Penobscot Bay Regional Chamber of Commerce has named its 2014-2015 board of directors and appointed Mike Hall of Damariscotta as president.
Hall, of Hall Funeral Home, succeeds outgoing president, Peter Horch of Horch Roofing.
“I am very passionate about supporting our local businesses and economy, and look forward to working with the chamber’s excellent group of volunteers and staff in the president role,” Hall said.
In addition to Hall as president, the following members were appointed to the 2014-2015 chamber board of directors: Dick McGee, Fresh Catch, Erik Frederick, Pen Bay Healthcare, Fletcher Hall, SummerMaine, Bob Fernald, Down East Magazine, Sarah McLean, Global Packing and Shipping, Stacey Palmer, Maine, Boats, Homes and Harbors, Sam Hill, Hill's Seafood, Sarah Gilbert, Elliot & MacLean.
The following will continue serving on the 2014-2015 Chamber Board of Directors: Skip Bates, Bangor Savings Bank, Joe Ryan, Adventure Advertising, Joe Corrado, Joe Corrado Photography, Mark Curtis, Dragon Cement, Ginny Savage, Breakwater Design and Build, Brad Galley, Machias Savings Bank and Rita West, Morgan Stanley Investments.
Formed on August 1, 2011 through the consolidation of the Camden-Rockport-Lincolnville Chamber and the Rockland-Thomaston Area Chamber, the Penobscot Bay Regional Chamber of Commerce is the voice of business in Knox, Waldo and northern Lincoln counties.
