Darlene T. Little
Darlene Teresa Little passed away July 22, 2026 after a short illness surrounded by her children.
Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Feb. 17, 1955 to Joan L. Andrews and Paul H. Little, she went to school in Philadelphia and moved to Boothbay with her parents after Paul retired in 1992.
Darlene worked at the Seagate Motel and loved working for the Friants. She also did home care helping the elderly with household chores, and she was a member of the Boothbay Region Miss Fires for several years.
She loved camping and going to the jamborees at the Ponderosa campground with her friend Ray Guyon, and in recent years camping at Lake Pemaquid campground with family.
She loved the holidays, summertime cookouts, and just enjoying being around family and friends. She always considered everyone her friend as she could spark up a conversation with anyone.
She was pre-deceased by her parents Paul, Joan, and friend Ray.
She is survived by her children Rocchina Ruffin, her husband Lorenzo children Lorenzo, Shavonn and Marcus, Kimberly Appenzeller, children Julianna and David William Little, children Mathew and Madison; sisters April husband Clarence, Tracy husband Marc, Paula and brother-in-law Roland; brother John; along with many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A celebration of life will be at Evergreen Cemetery on Saturday, Aug. 22 at 1 p.m. with a gathering following.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be sent to the Lincoln County Animal Shelter in Darlene’s name.
