Debra B. Annese

Debra B. Annese, 61, of Litchfield, died Nov.r 21, 2018 at the Alfond Center for Health in Augusta after a six-year battle with cancer.

She was born July 20, 1957 in Wiscasset, the daughter of Burton and Leatrice (Payne) Blackman. Debra grew up in Wiscasset and graduated from Wiscasset High School.

She worked at the Lincoln County Jail as a corrections officer and later as the training officer. She went on to work at the Sagadahoc County Jail as a lieutenant, the Long Creek Youth Center and was Training Coordinator at the Maine Criminal Justice Academy in her latest position.

Debra enjoyed hiking, boating, photography and travelling with her husband, Bob. She and Bob were married in 2008.

Debra is survived by her husband, Bob; her sons, Brandon Andrews of Boothbay, Dustin Andrews, of Bowdoinham and Paul Andrews Jr. and his companion, Kirstie Blake, of Wiscasset; her brother, Kenneth Blackman and his wife, Diane, of Wiscasset; her sisters, Naomi Bonang, of Wiscasset, Bonnie Waltz and her husband, Arthur, of Jefferson and Kathy Dubord and her husband, Mason, of Dresden; her grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at Christ Church Episcopal, 2 Dresden Avenue in Gardiner, Tuesday, Dec. 4 at 11 a.m.
