Dressing down benefits Wiscasset Museum in the Streets

    Employees of First National Bank recently raised $835.12 for Wiscasset’s Museum in the Streets through the bank’s Casual for a Cause program. Employees contribute to a nominated nonprofit in exchange for dressing casually on Fridays for one month.

    Wiscasset’s Museum in the Streets is a non-profit all volunteer organization of local residents, businesses, town officials, retired educators and local museum staff. The self-guided walking tour features 32 panels of text and historical imagery placed throughout the Wiscasset village. The tour fosters a sense of historical identity, education, encourages preservation and promotes historical town events and traditions.
