Elaine Dickinson, 79, of Boothbay passed on Nov. 21, 2021, at Parkview Hospital in Brunswick after a long battle with Parkinson's disease.

She was born April 30, 1942, in Boothbay, the daughter of Florence and Warren Barter. She had nine brothers and sisters.

Elaine and Morris Dickinson were married for 62 years, and they raised three boys.

She worked several years as a chambermaid at Brown Bros. Motel in Boothbay Harbor.

Elaine enjoyed doing crafts, cooking, spending time with family and especially loved her cats. She also loved playing games on her iPad and spending time with her cousins from Farmington.

She is survived by her husband, Morris, of Boothbay; sons, Chris Dickinson of Bath, Tony Dickinson of Damariscotta, and Gary Dickinson of Boothbay; grandsons, Alex Dickinson of Westbrook and Aaron Dickinson of Boothbay; daughters in-law, Louise Dickinson of Bath and Stacy Dickinson of Boothbay; as well as several other relatives.

A family graveside service will be held on her birthday, April 30, 2022.
