Endorsing Garrett Mason for governor
Dear Editor:
After years in both public service and private business, I have come to appreciate a simple truth: leadership is measured by results. Whether you are helping run a company or helping shape public policy, people expect competence, integrity, and a clear understanding of how decisions affect their daily lives.
Maine needs a leader who respects taxpayers, understands the challenges facing employers and working families, and knows how to make government more efficient and accountable.
This is why I am endorsing Garrett Mason for governor.
He has a strong understanding of how Augusta works and what must change if Maine is going to become more affordable and more competitive. Too many candidates talk about reform without knowing how to achieve it. Garrett has the experience to step in on day one and begin delivering results.
What also stands out to me is his seriousness and professionalism. He approaches public service as a responsibility, not a performance. In today’s political climate, that distinction matters.
Our state needs leadership rooted in common sense, conservative principles, and practical know-how.
I believe Garrett Mason has the judgment, character, and readiness to serve Maine well as our next governor.
