First National Bank supports Harbor Theater

    First National Bank recently donated $2,500 to the Harbor Theater as a 2020 business partner.

    Harbor Theater is a non-profit independent cinema founded in 2007 to sustain and perpetuate motion pictures in the Boothbay region. Harbor Theater’s programming includes first-run releases, art and independent films, festival winners, classic revivals, as well as live Film Maker sessions.

    The Maine Bicentennial Celebration: Maine in the Movies, presented in partnership with the Maine Historical Society will screen “Jean the Match-Maker” (1910) on March 6 at 2 p.m. Maine’s oldest narrative movie, the silent film with musical score is 13 minutes in length.

    First National Bank is also sponsoring screenings of Jean the Match-Maker around the state during the month of March.
