Healthy Kids' 14th annual Chocolate Fest is Feb. 7
Healthy Kids' Chocolate Fest is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 7 from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Lincoln Theater. This annual event is a great way to spend a winter’s evening and support child abuse prevention and neglect.
The stage is being set for numerous silent and live auction items including two private chef prepared dinners. The Public House has generously donated their chef Mark for a dinner at your home for four. Round Top Ice Cream donated a “your name as a flavor.” Another addition is the Director’s Reserve, a collection of favorite wines donated by HK board members.
Champagne will again be poured by the Damariscotta River Grill and a variety of delicious chocolate treats are being provided by many local restaurants and individuals.
Shelley’s Flowers is providing decorations for the event. Local auctioneer John Bottero returns to host the live auction. HK is delighted to present local favorites, the Horseshoe Crabs for attendees listening pleasure.
Healthy Kids was established in 1985 and is the child abuse and neglect council of Lincoln County. The nonprofit organization’s mission is to prevent child abuse and neglect and encourage, support and promote healthy family environments.
Chocolate Fest is proud to be sponsored by Bath Savings Institution, H.M. Payson and First Advisors.
Tickets are available at the Maine Coast Book Shop, Lincoln Theater box office and Healthy Kids 127 Elm St location. Advance purchase ticket price is $25 and $30 at the door.
