I support Chloe Maxmin
Dear Editor:
I first met Chloe Maxmin when she was running for the legislature in 2018. Chloe grew up on a farm in Nobleboro, graduated from Lincoln Academy and was accepted and graduated from Harvard College. She returned to Maine to build her life here in her community.
Chloe worked with people across Maine and New England for 15 years to curb rising healthcare costs, and declining school funding. Student debt, rising property taxes and climate change are also difficult problems that Chloe is attempting to find solutions for. She is a thoughtful, intelligent and articulate woman with excellent listening and speaking skills. She is a life long Mainer committed to our community.
Chloe understands that it is important to Maine to adapt older industries to 21st century needs, like broadband, but also to keep the unique character of traditional businesses and to preserve Maine’s unique culture and community traditions. She welcomes her constituents’ ideas and assistance in her ongoing efforts to ensure that our state government is responsive to our needs.
I urge you to support her candidacy for state senate and to help her achieve our shared goals. Be sure to vote on or before Nov. 3.
