The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 291 calls for service for the period of Aug. 18 to Aug. 25. Year to date, LCSO has responded to 8,818 calls for service.

Arrests

Nathan A. Peaslee, 36, of Dresden was arrested Aug. 18 for Theft by Unauthorized Use of Property; Refusing to Submit to Arrest or Detention; Assault on an Officer and Operating under the Influence – No Test, 1 prior, on Common Road, Dresden, by Deputy Brandon Maciuba.

Janet L. Hauslein, 56, of Saco was arrested Aug. 19 for Disorderly Conduct and Violating Condition of Release, at Two Bridges Regional Jail, Wiscasset, by Sgt. Jonathan Colby.

William Boell, 59, of Westtown, New York was arrested Aug. 21 for Criminal Attempt; Misuse of Identification; Forgery and Criminal Conspiracy, on Route 1, Edgecomb, by Deputy Nathan Yeaton.     

Neil A. Reilly, 69, of Bristol was arrested Aug. 22 on a Lincoln County warrant for Failure to Appear on a Criminal Trespass charge, on Old County Road, Bristol, by Deputy Brandon Maciuba.

John H. Hepburn III, 56, of Edgecomb was arrested Aug. 22 for Driving under the Influence, on Boothbay Road, Edgecomb, by Deputy Zachary Smith.

Serhiy Filonov, 37, of Dresden was arrested Aug. 24 for Domestic Violence Assault, on Calls Hill Road, Dresden, by Deputy Nathaniel Aronson.

Accidents

On Aug. 18, an accident occurred on Middle Road in Dresden involving Nicholas W. Duer, 24, of Orono. Mr. Duer was operating his 2022 Subaru SUV westbound when a deer ran out in front of his vehicle and was struck, causing front end damage. Deputy Jeffrey Rogers was the investigating officer.

On Aug. 18, an accident occurred on Wiscasset Road in Boothbay involving Christopher M. Greenleaf, 53, of Boothbay and Martha C. Tornielli, 66, of Boothbay Harbor. Ms. Tornielli was operating her 2015 Mazda Mazda3 southbound when she slowed to a stop for stopped traffic ahead of her. Mr. Greenleaf was operating his 2017 Ford Supercab behind Tornielli’s vehicle when he stated he became distracted and failed to see Ms. Tornielli’s brake lights on and ran into the back end of her vehicle. Deputy Jeffrey Rogers was the investigating officer.
