Lincoln County Republicans meet May 28
The monthly meeting of Lincoln County Republicans will be held Wednesday, May 28, at the Water of Life Lutheran Church, 618 US-1, Newcastle. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the guest speakers begin at 6, followed by the business meeting.
Guest speakers include:
Matt Griffiths, chairman of the newly rechartered Maine Young Republicans, the oldest political youth organization in the United States. Matt is a graduate of the University of Texas, Austin and Liberty University. He studied constitutional law under Mike Johnson, the current Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives. In partnership with the Maine GOP and other local conservative groups, the Maine Young Republicans is launching Swing Maine Red, their 2026 midterm election initiative focused on engaging younger voters, advocation for conservative values and supporting Republican candidates.
Nick Weiss, chairman of the Maine College Republicans and a student at Thomas College. The Maine College Republicans (MCR) is a statewide organization that unites college students across Maine who support conservative values and the Republican Party. Affiliated with the College Republican National Committee (CRNC), MCR aims to elect Republican candidates, register voters, and cultivate a new generation of GOP leaders in Maine.
Kristina Parker, president of Turning Point USA in Kennebec County, and the former chairwoman of Young Americans for Liberty. Kristina is a Christian, conservative, constitutionalist and a member of the Maine Right-to-Life Committee. She has been homeschooled most of her life and has attended the Leadership Institute and the Boston Youth Leadership School. Turning Point USA is a national, conservative, non-profit that sponsors clubs on college and high school campuses that promote freedom, constitutional rights, capitalism and conservatism.
Attendees are encouraged to bring nonperishable food items that will be donated to the local food pantry.
This meeting is open to registered Republicans.
