The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 230 calls for service for the period of 05/05/26 to 05/12/26, and Year to Date, LCSO has responded to 4394 calls for service.

RECENT SUMMONSES:

Jalyssa M. Gray, 29, of Damariscotta was issued a summons May 9 for Violating Condition of Release, on Wiscasset Road, Boothbay, by Deputy Jerold Winslow.

RECENT ARRESTS:

Thomas W. Reiss, 31, of Newcastle was arrested May 6 for Domestic Violence Assault; Domestic Violence Aggravated Assault; Obstructing Report of Crime, on Island Road, Newcastle, by Deputy Nathaniel Aronson.

Amanda Wallace, 43, of Whitefield was arrested May 8 for Theft by Unauthorized Taking or Transfer; Violating Condition of Release and Operating while License is Suspended or Revoked – Prior, on Mills Road, Whitefield, by Sgt. Scott Hayden.

RECENT ACCIDENTS:

On May 5, an accident occurred on Bunker Hill Road in Jefferson involving Ali Frazier, 17, of Jefferson.  Ms. Frazier was operating her 2015 Volvo S60 northbound when a deer ran out in front of her and was struck, causing damage to the passenger’s side front corner as well as the passenger’s side of her vehicle.   Deputy Nathaniel Aronson was the investigating officer.

On May 6, an accident occurred on Bunker Hill Road in Jefferson involving Kaitlyn E. Look, 33, of Jefferson.  Ms. Look was operating her 2011 Ford Expedition southbound when a deer entered the roadway in front of her and was struck, causing passenger side front end damage.   Sgt. Scott Hayden was the investigating officer.

On May 6, an accident occurred on Jefferson Road in Whitefield involving Deryck T. Smith, 34, of Whitefield.  Mr. Smith was operating his 2022 Dodge 1500 eastbound when a turkey entered the roadway and was struck, causing front end damage.  Sgt. Scott Hayden was the investigating officer.

On May 6, an accident occurred on Route 1 in Newcastle involving Brennan N. Mathiau, 17, of Port Clyde and Christine T. Selman, 45, of Boothbay.   Ms. Selman was operating her 2012 Toyota Prius northbound, merging on the on-ramp to Route 1, in Newcastle.  Mr. Mathiau was operating his 2010 Saab 9-3 behind Selman’s vehicle and rear ended her on the on- ramp.  Deputy Kasey Doyle was the investigating officer.

On May 7, an accident occurred on Main Road on Westport Island involving Andrew J. Stewart, 36, of Westport Island.  Mr. Stewart was operating his 2020 Ford F-150 northbound when a deer ran out into the road and was struck, causing rear driver’s side quarter panel damage.  Deputy Jeffrey Rogers was the investigating officer.

On May 7, an accident occurred on Boothbay Road in Edgecomb involving Megan A. Donaldson, 41, of Boothbay Harbor and Daniel S. Seigars, 43, of Damariscotta.  Ms. Donaldson was operating her 2014 Nissan Sentra northbound behind Mr. Seigars’ 2007 Volvo 40, who was also traveling northbound.  Mr. Seigars slowed and stopped for turning traffic ahead of him and Ms. Donaldson was not able to stop and struck Seigars’ vehicle in the rear end.  Sgt. Scott Hayden was the investigating officer.
