Lincoln County Sheriff's Office: 2 arrests
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 235 calls for service for the period of April 14 to April 21. Year to date, LCSO has responded to 3,717 calls for service.
Arrests
Jonathan P. Emmert, 28, of Caribou was arrested April 16 for Violating Condition of Release, on Main Street, Whitefield, by Deputy Joseph Booth.
Ryan M. Glidden, 37, of Jefferson was arrested April 15 for Domestic Violence Assault, on Augusta Road, Jefferson, by Deputy Caleb Poirier.
Accidents
On April 16, an accident occurred on River Road in Edgecomb involving Nancy L. Parsons-Kanter, 68, of West Boothbay. Ms. Parsons-Kanter was operating her 2024 Mercedes Benz GLE450 southbound when she went off the roadway on the right side and struck a utility pole. Sgt. Scott Hayden was the investigating officer.
On April 17, an accident occurred on Ocean Point Road in Boothbay involving Anita A. Dickerson, 47, of Saint Charles, Illinois. Ms. Dickerson was operating her 2026 Jeep Wagoneer southbound, when an oversized load came over a small hill, pushing her vehicle off the roadway. As a result, she struck a mailbox when she went onto the shoulder. Upon observing the damage, it appears her vehicle was struck by the oversized load, but that vehicle did not stop. Deputy Samuel Alexander was the investigating officer.
On April 19, an accident occurred on Butler Road in Boothbay involving Adam R. Giles, 34, of Boothbay. Mr. Giles was operating his 2009 Chevrolet HHR southbound when he went off the road to the left, struck a mailbox, before colliding with a large tree. His vehicle sustained disabling damage to the front driver’s corner. Deputy Caleb Poirier was the investigating officer.
