Sheriff Todd Brackett reports the following of incidents.

Summons

Gregory S. Miller, 43 of Wiscasset was issued a summons July 1 for Violation of Protective Order on Murray Hill Road, Boothbay by Sgt Scott Hayden.

Arrests

Catherine A. Lilly, 36, of Dresden was arrested July 1 for Aggravated Assault on Middle Rd, Dresden by Deputy Mark Fortin who was assisted by Deputy Kasey Doyle.

Calum D. Litke, 31, of Windsor was arrested July 3 for Domestic Violence Assault, Criminal Mischief, Discharge Firearm near Dwelling on Heath Rd, Whitefield by Deputy Sam Alexander who was assisted by Sgt. Jonathan Colby, Deputies Kasey Doyle and Jerold Winslow.

Teresa Simpson, 53, of Dresden was arrested July 4 for Operating Under the Influence on State Park Rd, Jefferson by Deputy Nathaniel Aronson.

Accidents

On June 29, an accident occurred on Route 1 in Edgecomb involving Robert W. Spear, 83, of Nobleboro, David A. King, 76, of Woolwich, and Richard Coventry, 72, of Polk City, Florida. Mr. Spear in a 2017 GMC Sierra, Mr. King in a 2020 Jeep Cherokee and Mr. Coventry in a 2024 Lincoln Nautilus were stopped in traffic. Spear started in traffic striking the rear bumper of King’s vehicle thus pushing him in Coventry’s vehicle. Deputy Mark Fortin was the investigating officer.

On June 29, an accident occurred on Route 1 in Newcastle involving Dixie L. Poulin, 43, of Randolph. Ms. Poulin was operating a 2020 Ford Explorer southbound on Route 1 when a deer entered the roadway and was struck. Deputy Jeffrey Rogers was the investigating officer.

On June 29, an accident occurred on Route 1 in Newcastle involving Nathaniel Aronson, 45, of Wiscasset. Mr. Aronson was operating a 2022 Ford Explorer southbound when a deer entered the roadway and was struck. Sgt Matthew Day was the investigating officer.

On June 30, an accident occurred on Alna Road in Alna involving Forest Hisler, 26, of Whitefield. Mr. Hisler was operating a 2016 Dodge Durango southbound when a deer entered the roadway and was struck. Sgt Scott Hayden was the investigating officer.

On July 2, an accident occurred on Middle Road in Dresden involving Branden A. Bailey, 30, of Vassalboro. Mr. Bailey was operating a 2005 Toyota Corolla northbound when he attempted to pass vehicles but there was oncoming traffic. Mr. Bailey overcorrected and went off the roadway striking a telephone pole. Sgt. Scott Hayden was the investigating officer.

On July 2, an accident occurred on Route 1 in Nobleboro involving Christopher Mason, 56, of Danvers, Massachusetts. Mr. Mason was operating a 2024 Harley Davidson FLTRX northbound when a deer entered the roadway and was struck.  Deputy Zachary Smith was the investigating officer.
