Feb. 16, the department released the agenda for a 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21 school committee meeting, also in the WMHS library. Among agenda items were to “review advertisement for WMHS principal for 2023-2024,” the department’s “process for WMHS principal search” and “WMHS interim principal for remainder of 2022-2023” school year.
In the Feb. 15 meeting, Chairman Jason Putnam said Lomonte “has some health issues he needs to attend to and unfortunately won’t be able to finish the year.”
