According to the town website at alna.maine.gov, nomination papers will be available at the town office starting Dec. 11 for a two-year term as first selectboard member, a three-year term on the school board and a one-year term as road commissioner. The filing deadline for the papers is 4 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 20.

Elections are planned for March 20. The open portion of town meeting is March 21.
