The Bremen Library is pleased to host photographer Jannetta Jennings as our August Artist of the Month. Jennings was born in Camden and is a lifelong resident of Maine. No formal reception is planned, but her featured collection entitled “Ponds, Pools and Puddles” can be enjoyed during library hours.

She started photographing rural farms, landscapes, and nature in 1999, including a year-long study of the former Liberty Canning Factory that captures the slow disintegration of the factory buildings and their immediate surroundings. She is never at a loss for finding interesting scenes and places to photograph!
