Reopening with 'Downton Abbey' Gala celebration!
Join us Saturday, Nov. 1 as we celebrate Lincoln Theater’s grand reopening and the opening screening of "Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale!" With bubbles, nibbles, costumes, and more, grab your friends and neighbors because you don’t want to miss out on this special evening out.
The Crawleys return to the big screen in “Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale”—the cinematic conclusion to the beloved global phenomenon. As the family and their devoted staff enter the 1930s, Mary finds herself at the center of a public scandal, and the Crawleys face financial turmoil that threatens their way of life. With social change on the horizon and a new generation preparing to lead, Downton Abbey reminds us that grace, loyalty, and love never go out of style.
Doors will open at 6 p.m. for a festive opening night gala! Arrive in costume and receive free admission, thanks to our friends at Drum & Drum Real Estate who are sponsoring this fun evening out. Show off your costume as we toast a new chapter for both the Crawleys and our theater. Need a little help with your look? Explore one of the many fantastic secondhand and vintage shops in our area—perfect places to find Downton-worthy accessories, from elegant hats and gloves to shoes and sparkling jewelry. Our friends at The Kingfisher and The Queen have also prepared a dazzling Downton Abbey–themed gift basket for one lucky guest to win! Step into the glamour of the 1930s and join us for a night to remember. Tickets to enter the drawing will be $1 each or 6 for $5. The proceeds will help cover some of our lobby makeover costs.
Tickets, for anyone who doesn’t arrive in costume or does dress up but still wants to pay admission, are $10/adults and $7 for LT members and youth 18 and under. They are available in advance through the box office at www.LincolnTheater.org and at the door 30 minutes before showtime. Lincoln Theater is located at 2 Theater St. in the heart of downtown Damariscotta. More information is available online or by contacting the theater office at info@LincolnTheater.org or 563-3424.
