The Maine Marine Patrol has temporarily suspended the search of Round Pond Harbor for 63-year-old Glenn Murdoch of Bremen. The search will resume Thursday and continue through the weekend with targeted patrols by boat and plane.

Murdoch was reported missing Monday night at approximately 9:30 p.m. after his skiff was found adrift in the harbor where his boat, an 18-foot aluminum Starcraft is moored. The skiff was returned to shore by a good Samaritan. Members of Marine Patrol, the U.S. Coast Guard and Bristol Fire Department conducted a search of Round Pond Harbor and the nearby shoreline until about 1 a.m. Tuesday morning. The search continued Tuesday with members of the Maine Marine Patrol/State Police Dive Team focusing their search near Murdoch's mooring, near the town dock in Bristol.

The search was suspended again at 6 p.m.Tuesday and resumed at 8 a.m. Wednesday with the dive team, Marine Patrol's airplane and Marine Patrol vessels.
