Incumbent Alna Road Commissioner Jeff Verney and First Selectman Melissa Spinney are seeking re-election. Both turned in nomination papers, as did Douglas Morier, seeking a three-year term representing Alna on Sheepscot Valley Regional School Unit 12’s board of directors, according to an email response from Town Clerk Liz Brown.

 

The selectman’s seat is for two years; road commissioner, one year. Monday was the deadline to file papers for the March 20 elections. Absentee ballots will be available Feb. 19.
