James Cosgrove, Designated Broker of Newcastle Square Realty is pleased to announce that Laura Blake of Southport and Scott Lund of Jefferson have joined the firm as broker associates.

Blake is a graduate of Boothbay Region High School and the University of Maine at Farmington. She worked as an educator in the Portland area before returning to Boothbay Harbor in 1999. At that time, she opened and operated Lakeview Children’s House, a preschool and childcare facility. In October of 2008, she began her real estate career where she has enjoyed success as a real estate broker, working with both sellers and buyers.

Blake is the current treasurer of the Lincoln County Board of Realtors and is active in Rebuilding Together serving all of Lincoln County. She belongs to the Congregational Church of Boothbay Harbor. Along with her husband Tom, she enjoys spending time on the links at the Boothbay Harbor Country Club or on the slopes at Sugarloaf. She can be reached at laurablake@cheneycompanies.com.

Lund is a graduate of Medomak Valley High School and the Maine Maritime Academy. After a 30-year-plus career in the maritime industry where he served both on land and at sea in several capacities, including command of merchant ships, he has returned to his native Lincoln County.

Lund is a Master Mason with Triangle Lodge # 1 of the Free and Accepted Masons in Portland and an active member of the Waldoboro Lions Club. He is honored to be a member of the Boston Marine Society, the oldest marine society in the United States

An avid fisherman and boater, Lund knows the coastal waters of the Midcoast area well and looks forward to sharing that expertise with boaters and sailors thinking of moving to our area. He can be reached at scottlund@cheneycompanies.com.
