United Way of Mid Coast Maine (“United Way”) is asking for the community’s support to help complete our $1.29 million fundraising goal for the United Way Community Fund. The Fund supports United Way and more than 50 local non-profit programs to help nearly 41,000 individuals and families throughout the Midcoast. With support from the community, we can achieve our collective goal to give kids the best start, build financial stability, and help everyone live healthy and connected lives.

• Access safe shelter, food, affordable healthcare, and high-quality childcare;

• Reduce homelessness, prevent violence and abuse, and strengthen families; and

• Ensure vulnerable youth, adults, and seniors are supported and connected.

Since 1956, United Way of Mid Coast Maine has been a trusted community partner serving the towns of Brunswick and Harpswell, Lincoln, Knox, and Sagadahoc counties. As a locally governed and independently run non-profit organization, United Way is led by a small staff and dozens of community volunteers.
