The evenings are drawing in all over Maine and autumn in New England is the perfect time to cozy up with a warm beverage in front of the fireplace and read that book you have been wanting to read all summer!

This is also the perfect time to add to your book collection. Second Hand Prose, the Used Book Room of Wiscasset Public Library, has a wonderful selection of almost new books for all ages. To celebrate this special season, we are running a special sale on Saturday, Oct. 3 in conjunction with Scarecrowfest.

The Friends of the Wiscasset Public Library (21 High St.) will be holding this special sale. Bring your own bag and fill the bag to the brim for only $5! The sale will open at 10:30 a.m. and close at 1 p.m. Hope to see you then!
