The Town of Wiscasset has contracted with Hagar Enterprises of Damariscotta to pave several Village streets. Work is scheduled to begin Monday, May 11 and conclude Friday, May 15, weather permitting. Crews will be working between 6:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. each day.

Streets scheduled for paving: Bigfoot Alley, Bradbury, Churchill, Danforth, Evergreen, Fort Hill, High, Lee, Lincoln, Middle, Summer, Union, Warren and Washington streets, Washington Street Extension and the waterfront parking lot.

The project includes sweeping Village streets, applying a three quarter-inch shim coat and installing a 1.25” surface layer.

No on-street parking. Parking will be available in municipal parking lots on Middle Street, Railroad Avenue, Water Street and the Municipal Building. Motorists should expect delays, plan accordingly, and follow all flaggers and posted signage. Thank you for your understanding.
