Over 50 Boothbay Region YMCA Y Arts cast members presented the first of two shows of “Peter Pan Jr.” at Lincoln Theater in Damariscotta on Wednesday, April 5.

The youngsters sang and danced to 13 songs, including the memorable songs “I’m Flying” and “I Won’t Grow Up” while telling the story of Peter Pan, Tinker Bell, Wendy, John and Michael, Mr. and Mrs. Darling, Captain Hook, Hook’s right hand man Smee and his pirates, the Lost Boys, Tiger Lily and Brave Girls. As the story goes, Captain Hook seeks revenge on Peter Pan for cutting off his hand (which was eaten by a crocodile), while Wendy, John and Michael get mixed up in Hook’s plan as he and the pirates invade the island of Neverland where the Lost Boys, led by Peter Pan, help to defeat Hook.
