Michael B. Stanton
Michael Brock Stanton, 75, of Boothbay Harbor, Maine passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on April 23, 2021.
Brock was born in Bath, Maine, the son of Harold Stanton and Glenda Wright. He proudly served his country in the Navy from 1966-1970.
In his younger years he loved riding motorcycles and convertibles. He was an avid Red Sox and New England Patriots fan.
He made a career as a chef and worked in various restaurants in Boothbay Harbor. He owned and operated Uncle Brock’s family restaurant in Wiscasset. When he wasn’t working, he loved spending time with his two daughters and many grandchildren.
He is survived by daughters, Marcy Stanton of Boothbay and Diane Albert and her husband David of Brunswick; granddaughters, Shelby Pinkham, Chelsie Graves, Kasey Graves and Isis Fitzpatrick; grandson, Aesop Fitzpatrick; great-grandson, Graycin Hodgdon; and great-granddaughter, Freyja Hodgdon.
Per Brock’s wishes, there will not be a memorial service. He wishes for everyone to remember the good times, live each day to the fullest, and to tip your bartenders well.
