The Wiscasset Area Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the start of their autumn Business After Hours events. Business After Hours events are a great opportunity to network with other business professionals and leaders in the Wiscasset area. The first Business After Hours will be hosted by the Cod Cove Inn, Thursday, Sept. 11 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Please join us for great conversations and appetizing refreshments.

The Cod Cove Inn is a 28-room inn overlooking Wiscasset and the Sheepscot River. Under the management of new innkeepers Jill and Ted Hugger, the Cod Cove Inn is open all year long. The inn has earned a reputation for comfortable, exceptionally clean accommodations; spectacular gardens; and was recently awarded the website, TripAdvisor’s 2014 Certificate of Excellence.

The four and one-half acre grounds include two gazebos, hidden gardens, beautiful landscaping, and a heated outdoor swimming pool. Every room at the Cod Cove Inn features a balcony or patio with water views and a private entrance.

Tours of the grounds, a variety of guest rooms and the inn’s public areas will be available during Business After Hours. Hors d'oeuvres will be catered by The 1812 Farm, and beer and wine will also be available. Door prizes will include a one-night stay at the Cod Cove Inn, a Jan Kilburn watercolor, and Cod Cove Inn logo gear.
