Progress on Dresden-Richmond bridge

The new Richmond-Dresden bridge is, after months of construction, towering above the existing bridge on the Kennebec River.
The bridge on Route 197 connects Richmond and Dresden.
Construction commenced in 2013 and the bridge could be operational before the end of 2014.
The existing bridge was built in 1931 and will be dismantled once the new $18.6 million bridge is completed.
