In the District 1 congressional race, incumbent Democratic U.S. Rep Chellie Pingree had 674 votes and Republican Isaac Misiuk had 286 votes.
In the State Senator District 13 race, Newcastle selected incumbent Democratic State Sen. Chris Johnson with 602 votes while Republican Les Fossel had 418 votes.
In the District 90 representative to the legislature race, Newcastle picked incumbent Democrat Mick Devin with 669 votes while Republican Anna Morkeski had 340 votes.
In the District Attorney race, Newcastle selected Democrat David Sinclair, 524 votes, over incumbent Republican Geoffrey Rushlau, 446 votes.
