Both the Wiscasset School Department and Regional School Unit 12 have called two-hour weather delays on the start of school for Wednesday, Dec. 3.

Following those announcements, Wiscasset schools announced they would close for the entire day.

RSU 12’s announcement further states that there will be no pre-kindergarden in Chelsea, and that the district’s Wednesday early-release will take place as usual.

A mixed bag of precipitation entered the region overnight. The school delays were announced shortly after 5 a.m.
