The Coastal Dog, 144 Middle Road, Edgecomb is welcoming current and prospective clients to a holiday open house event. Visitors will be able to meet the staff and other local dog owners on Dec. 14 from 1 to 5 p.m. for food, fun and, of course, dogs.

“So many people have shown interest in touring the facility but we often have too many guests (dogs) to properly show the building and surrounding play areas. The dogs are used to seeing the staff but when a human face pops up, it can disrupt the group. We are very happy to be able to offer this open house so that owners can really see where their dogs play and sleep,” said owner Alesia Norling.

In addition to getting a closer look at the facility, visitors will be treated to food from Mel’s Place Wood Fired Pizza and will be able to meet adoptable dogs and puppies from the local rescue group, Underhound Railroad. Although The Coastal Dog would enjoy meeting your dog on any other day, this event is for people guests only.
