Wiscasset tree lighting will go on; waterfront activities canceled

Wiscasset’s tree lighting will still happen Saturday, Dec. 6 at 4:30 p.m. on the town common, but Saturday’s expected weather has led to the cancellation of waterfront activities that had been scheduled for 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Wiscasset Parks and Recreation Director Todd Souza said Friday.
